every other day.

yeah. apparently that's the kind of blog i want to be. well, i don't "want" to be 'that kind' of blog but just haven't been hitting the computadora very much lately. yesterday nick and i flew to dallas for a quick trip. he entered a project put on by hks-knoll that he won! yeah, first place!!

and that's his award. well really, his award was a fifteen-hundred dollar check but this heavy piece of glass is something that will stand the test of time.
i honestly don't have much else to share. today i did get a good phone call from my doctor. my hcg levels are continuing to rise so we officially have a 'viable' pregnancy!!! so excited. immediately went out and bought this:

have any of you mommies out there used this?? from past experience {a.k.a. that lovely 'period' in a girl's life when guys become just a little more attracted to her....and not because of their personality} i know that i'm prone to stretch marks so i'm gonna start slathering this stuff on!!!

  1. Hey,

If you would like to you can talk to my sister about home births. She had both my niece and nephew at home and she and her hubby wouldn't have it any other way. She had an awesome midwife both times and she loves to answer any and all questions about home birthing. Give her a call if you want: 979-589-3460. Or you can get to her facebook through mine and send her a message. :)

I am super, super excited for y'all!

  2. thanks lady! sorry it's taken so long to respond to this. for some reason, i don't get a notification when someone comments on my blog :( while we do plan to keep the birth as natural as possible, unfortunately nick isn't quite ready to forgo the absence of a medical professional at the birth so we might have to wait until we're greeted with another little miracle.
