who's with me.

i am absolutely positively convinced that the family and i need to pack our bags come november. celebrate my birthday a little early and see this guy. here. i seriously laughed out loud while writing this post. gamble chocolate? heart shape antacids? love him.

and also because at barely four months away from this city, i'm already itching to go back as soon as possible. i'm really liking how our new york ventures just seem to get closer and closer together. so husband, just say the word and i'll make the reservations. ;)

for the past couple of days.

it's been pretty eventful over here at the gignac house. from eating rice cereal and graduating to her mama's green smoothie in just a couple of days, mila has been doing all of those crazy things, like eating from a spoon and even drinking from a sippy cup, that she hears those big kids talking about.

we're not sure what's next on her menu, maybe some sweet potatoes and avocado. either way, i'm almost certain she'll love it all. even though m makes a pretty hilarious face when she takes a bite or drink of ANYthing, we were surprisingly spared all of those typical first food experiences. miss moo has thus far eaten and enjoyed it all!

ever since mila has taken an interest in her mama's computer screen, writing blog posts and getting work done on the computer with a little facebook/twitter/pinterest mixed in, really has gotten a lot easier. thanks mopey for all of your help!

she may not be a lover of elmo just yet, but that sweet puppet's voice always gets me. really wish this documentary would come to corpus, but there's always netflix.

wee little mila may not be getting a lot of pink in her room, but this video from the lovely kate spade just might've given me a reason to throw the color into the mix every now and then.
